It is important to find some one who can relate to the way you feel, some one who knows what it's like in your position. I have found that it's hard to have gay friends because the ones that I've had, have been drama. Anyway, I hope you find what you're looking for!!!
:P

Friends fill a function that a partner can not and should not fill. Being alone and not having a friend to exchange thoughts with can be depressing and feel like insanity. Have you tried to find someone online to talk to? There are many persons that are awake when you are, both around the world and others that work night. It's not like having someone to talk to face to face but it is better than nothing.

My ex is my maximum suitable chum, and a pair of different gay adult men. That makes 3 maximum suitable acquaintances that are gay. in case you have 3 gay maximum suitable acquaintances, i'm prepared to wager that the leaf would not fall too a ways from the tree.

I don't know where you live but many areas have a social group for gay couples....gives you a chance to meet other couples for dinner etc.

My ex and I were involved in the local group here and enjoyed it a lot.

Try doing a web search or check local gay web sites.

It is great to have people to talk to.

it's not insane, it's weird how the world wouldn't accept homosexuality. That's why sometimes it may be hard to go up to someone and ask, "Are you gay?" and if they're one of those who object to it... it can get quite ugly.
But remember that "assuming" doesn't get you anywhere, you can only get to know someone real well to a point when they won't go all weird when you ask "are you gay"
And another alternative, girls are always nice to talk to... After all, you can always relate to them whether they're straight or not

I am a gay person and usually awake late at night Alaska time watching TV and always keep my computer on...If you need a friend to confine in, please give me a ring and I'll be more than welcome to be your long distance Friend.....Just one of these days you will get yourself into trouble if you accidentally talk to the wrong person regarding gay issues...I wouldn't want anything to happen to you speaking to a fellow "sister"...It's what we gay friends call each other here in Alaska...and to very close friends we call each other "twisted sisters". Gayly forward my friend...

working the night shift really can cause problems for some people in their way of thinking. i recommend you get off of it soon. I'm not throwing you a shot here. i worked for three years and nearly lost my mind from a lack of interaction.

Good luck son.

You know not all men are gay, but you need a friend.

Many straight ppl are ok with that.

That's all.

Hope all goes well for you.

You are not happy in your relationship or you would not be looking for another gay guy to confide in. If you are this cut off from communicating, maybe you should change jobs.
