I don't think we are so nosey. Not me anyhow, I don't have a big enough nose. I think mankind has always been intrigued by the unknown, since the dawn of time.

because man is always looking for an edge its survival of the fittest if you know something that no one else does then you have an advantage over them and therefore you have power over them. so everyone is always looking for answers and secrets. take world wars 2 for example if the Americans had spread the news that they had the atomic bomb and were going to use it do you think it would have been so effective in ending the war or even worse imagine if Japanese spy's had learned the secrets and developed the bomb first using the knowledge they discovered

Some of us admit to being nosey, but people in general are curious. We want to know what's going on, we want to know about other people and what they are doing.

I think most of us just love being privy to knowledge that is not open to everyone. It is one way for us to feel better about ourselves by knowing more than everybody else. Unlocking mysteries is one way of doing that. Personally, I hate mysteries.

because it's a mystery?!! we all need some sort of an enigma in our lives, otherwise life would be very dull!! my friend loves having stress in her life just because it makes life interesting (i can do without it personally) It gives you something to worry about and something to discuss with friends i suppose.......xx

We don't like not knowing what makes things tick. We like to know how things work and have logical explanations because somehow that makes things ok. if we don't know then its like an itch we can't scratch. it plays on our minds until we find out!
