ipod has better earphones that are more durable ipod lets you put in more songs and has extras that most mp3 players dont such as you can import your photo library, you can play some games, it has a calender, you can use it as an alarm..

An Ipod is a mp3 player. So there is no difference. the ipod is really trendy and popular. That doesn't mean it's the best. But It does mean there are a lot of accessories for it. There are other that are better. And if you don't want to put a lot of songs on it, try a phone with an mp3 player, look for one with a memory card slot or one with a lot of built in memory. Sony has a good one and Nokia is coming out with a 8gp model soon.

Most MP3 players have FM radios. iPods don't. But with iPods you get iTunes, which is a floder where you can store all your music on your computer. Either way, you get something very small which can hold a lot of music. Hope this helped. :)
