I think because it is so common for homophobes to turn out to be gay later in life...at work the people who were the meanest to me years later came out themselves..but they really were cruel long ago..it's a lesson you don't forget.
Yes. of course, you are right --not everyone who opposes the gay lifestyle is gay themselves...you just have to realize why we feel that way in general. But I can tell from your question that you probably are 100% gay and sincere....because you are not attacking the gay lifestyle...you are just stating that you disagree with it....hope all this makes sense to you LOL.

Most people that I've known who are truly comfortable in their sexuality don't care the least about whether someone else is gay, and they certainly don't make a point of perpetually telling gay people that their way of being is unnatural, a sin, an abomination, or some other name calling that reduces a fundamental personal trait to being inferior.
You tend to come in here and basically say that same message again and again (although in a nicer more tolerant way than some). It's difficult to understand why we are such an issue for you unless it does have something to do with you on a very personal level.
Also negativity is often countered with negativity... you say it's wrong, so others strike back by saying, admit is honey, that wrong is you. If nothing else, you're asking people to respond to your stubborn opinion by challenging it. Why you seek that challenge is something only you can figure out. Yes, that reason may very well have nothing to do with your orientation, and it could be as simple as that you have an issue with the prejudice you've been taught. Like I said, only you can figure it out.
Btw, gay people don't care about whether you *support* the "lifestyle". What we want is to end the discrimination and being legally treated as subhuman. I'm speaking specifically to the fact that 40 of the 50 states have no protection for workplace and housing discrimination... a legal protection that exists for religious faiths, races, creeds, ethnic origins, and physical/mental handicaps. That very much IS hypocricy in action.

not supporting and hating are two different things, but if you don't support gay marriage then you don't want everyone to be happy, based on some stupid religion or your own stupid way of thinking.its fine if someone doesn't support gays, but when hatred and limits to the same freedoms as everyone else, that's when it becomes an issue.the ones that are probably secretly gay are the ones who insult, taunt and continue to spread hate just because a person is different, because secretly they are that way and are ashamed.you don't have to support anything, everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you also don't have to join the hate bandwagon also.
sorry if that sounded confusing,i also don't think that all that don't support gays are haters.that takes a special kind of person to hate.

Yeah, but I mostly find that people that go around accusing supporters of being gay are usually hypocrite or are afraid of what others would think of them if they supported it.......I use to be the same way.......

don't confuse 'not support' with 'bash & insult'. people that post extremely rude and abusive questions & answers in the LGBT section get back as good as they give...calling them closeted homosexuals is fun because it really bothers them and sometimes is pretty close to accurate. many homophobic people are actually homosexual but so afraid of it that they lash out at people that have accepted their homosexuality.

If they continue to attack us they must be attracted to us, which only means one thing they can't accept their sexuality so they blame it on us because "WE" turned them gay.

Gay people are not comfortable being in society. If you disagree with them your homophobic, if you agree with them your gay. Some think that by disagreeing with them makes you sexually insecure. They're a confusing bunch and they are really confused cuz they know that it's not an illness or genes that make them gay but it's a choice that will some day kill them all through the disease's that they will create between
