When I was 8 years old, my mother told me my sister and I had a different father. She basically told me the two men were best friends and she did a little messing around with both of them. Supposedly, my father (that I've known all my life..I'm going to call him C) was in jail when I was conceived by her and B (the man who is supposedly my biological father). I've dealt with ten years of both sides telling me different things. My mother tells me B is certainly my father and I look so much like him. My father C tells me it is untrue and my mother is just saying that to get back at him (my parents have been divorced for about 15 years). He has told me that B calls him and tells him that my mother will not leave him alone..that he is so sorry for causing trouble and he is not my biological father. BUT my mother tells me B calls and checks up on me nowadays. B has given money in the past. I have begged my mom for a paternity test, but she's never taken any action to do so. SO CONFUSING!

I've met B about three times in my life. We used to e-mail each other back and forth, but he never made it clear that he was my real father. Just casual get-to-know-you talking.

Get a paternity test done yourself if you can afford it. If you can't, then save up to do so. It sounds like you will never get the truth out of your parents. One thing you didn't make clear is if you actually know B or not. You might try asking him. I really wouldn't trust anything your parents tell you on the subject.
