I gave birth last June. I stopped breastfeeding last month. I was on birth control when I was breastfeeding :Erin. Now I'm on Yasmin. Any experience with it? When will I get my period back? Will I get it back the week I start taking the "fake bills?"

Normally, the way the pill is set up is that you take 3 weeks of active pills. And the week of the inactive pills you have your period. However, every body and woman is different. If, you are really concerned about not having your period, there are ways to induce you to have one--for example, you can get a prevara shot--opposite of depo prevara. Just remember, just because you have not had a period, does not mean you cannot get pregnant!

Getting your period back may take time. Its different for many people. When I got off depo it took me about a year to get back to normal. It all depends on the person. Ask your doctor if there is anything that can help you.
