I understand.. these other people just don't know the first part.

How can you give up if you really haven't done anything. I told you to go into the store about 2 weeks ago, and obviously you did. Now you don't have to go back over and over.. let him come to you. You stepped into 'his territory' and I guess he didn't have the gonads to ask you out, or maybe he is taken. For that info, you'll have to get closer.

I say you should give him a couple of days and see if he comes to you. If you REALLY want to speed things up, or just find out if he is single, then while in the store make it a point to ask him. You don't have to ask him out, just ask if he's single. You will find out and he will get the hint.. if he is single and doesn't ask you out within a week, then he is spineless, gay, or not interested.

Regardless, there are millions of us guys out here.. surely you can stumble across another one somewhere.

Oh, yeah.. you should have some kind of a pic instead of a generic avatar.

I think this has been going on long enough now.
What you need is a new man to take your mind off this man you keep seeing in the store.
btw What store is it. I know Cambridge very well. Meet me there sometime, in the store, in front of that guy, so he sees you with another man. See what he does

Did I miss part of the question because I'm not understanding what your asking. This guy in the corner do you like him and does he like you and if so why give up so easy.Getting to know someone takes time.

The guy was either too scared to do anything overt, or he isn't interested. It sounds like you were too scared to do anything overt too, so if you are still interested in him you are going to need to approach him.

It is never selfish to follow your heart, unless you end up hurting other people. You aren't hurting this guy by pursuing other interests (or guys), so feel free to be yourself.

I agree with most everyone here. I think you need to re-phrase your question and fill in the holes. I dont understand what your trying to say.
