The teeth are suppose to be something that enhance their ability to drain anything of its blood. As for their refection it is suppose to show the vampire what its really look like and cancel the illusion that they have created for humans to see. As for the coffin, The vampire is only suppose to be able to sleep and survive in the earth from their own home land. Another thing most methods that we are told that is suppose to kill a vampire is so far from the truth, that only a totally idiot would try, Like the cross or holy water or daylight or a stake in the heart, So I would recommend that you start reading some of the ancients text that have a proven method to stop some of these ancients creatures that are located in your local libraries or that can be accessed on your home computer.....................

There are genuine vampires out there. They suffer from a rare disorder which makes them very sensitive to sunlight, and their blood lacks iron (I think, but it may be something else) which they can get through drinking others blood. One bloke buys animal blood from butchers. It is thought that a lot of the myths about supernatural vampires are based on these type of people. I vaguely remember hearing about gums receding making the teeth look longer, but that might be to do with something else.
Hammer films invented many of the supposed qualities of vampires (not sure exactly which ones, but stuff like mirrors, crosses, running water, bats, etc.).

From all of my studies vampires are supposely people that are dead and come back life sinking the blood of peoples. They are supposely to become a vampire by being bitten by a bat . That as much as I can tell you. here is somemore information that might help.

vampires keep their fangs hidden in the gums like snakes, holy water crosses and garlic only slow it down if you want to keep it then use dead mans blood; the only way to kill it is sun, or chop its head off, they can see themselves but you can't take a picture of them, to turn you have to be injected with vampire blood
