since they are too little to defend themselves. i feel guilty killin em but i dont like ants in my house:( poor little guys. especially when i kill one that has food hes bringing to his little family:(

I KNOW! I dont like to kill them either. I try to take them outside so they can live their life! I feel bad because I think about how they have a family at home and that they're just trying to live their little lives like people but are just small! I hate to kill them so I usually dont. Im glad u feel the same way I do, not many people do......:)

not at all....if you do not kill them, and the whole family as well you will soon regret it, they have a way of taking over. many insects can do damage to your home, and they can spread deceases. Just think, do want that cute little ant crawling around on your clean dishes, when they may have just been in your garbage?

I think it's normal to feel some anguish when you make a bug into a smudge. I worry about the people who are filled with glee every time they cap one. But, I must admit, except of pollinators, I am not a big bug advocate for ones that have violated my home. Outside, hey, it's their world.

Yes, in fact I prefer to try and get them to go outside instead of killing them. Also if I feel like there's so many my killing them isn't going to do anything I've come to just let them exist because I think it's a losing battle (as long as they aren't in my food or dishes, etc.)

No they are gross and do not belong in your house, plus he's not bringing food to his "family" hes bringing it to feed the queen to make tons of ants to infest your sugar bowl.
