to work in my church's nursery (ages birth ~ 6) and im going shopping for things to do with them. Do yall have any ideas i could do with them?

Lots of blocks for the boys...they like to build things...then demolish them.
Beads for the girls to make necklaces...accessories, etc.
Keeps them quiet and busy.

stock yourself with toys from a thrift shop - wash them well. also look for books and stuff from garage sales. plan 10 to 15 minute activities.

For the bigger kids, crayons and drawing paper are a must. Buy story books, and sing-a-long and dance-to-it CD's.
