Yuvraj got injured while playing kho kho
he won't be there for SA tour
You have done a really good selection job. Indian selectors should learn something from you.Playing with 5 pacers is
a very good idea.
zaheer irfan sreesanth nehra-(for pace) agarkar
dravid yuvraj sachin sehwag laxman-(played well in WI in past and is a seasoned bat)

keeper Dhoni he is a strong/full batsman too

Yuvaraj Singh could not play because he was injured. He will not be available for South Africa tour as well.

For your kind information, India's next tour will be to South Africa and not West Indies. I strongly feel that the ideal bowling combination will be 3 Pace Bowlers and 2 spinners as South Africans are not great players agaist spin bowling.

I prefer the following players in the series against South Africa.

1) Rahul Dravid.
2) Sachin Tendulkar.
3) Virender Shewag.
4) Mohd. Kaif.
5) Dinesh Mongia
6) M.S. Dhoni.
7) Irfan Pathan
8) Munaf Patel.
9) Sree Santh
10) Harbajan Singh
11) Anil Kumble if he is fit enough or otherwise Ramesh Powar

Yuvraj Singh was not playing in the crucial clash because he bruised his knee while playing kho-kho during a practice session.

Bowlers:

1.Zaheer Khan.
2.Lakshmipathi Balaji.
3.Ashish Nehra.
4.Shanthakumaran Sreesanth.
5.Ajit Agarkar.

Batsmen:

1.Sachin Tendulkar.
2.Rahul Dravid.
3.Yuvraj Singh.
4.V.V.S.Laxman.
5.Virender Sehwag.

Both of them are fine , but I think Rahul Dravid is slightly better than Mahendra Singh Dhoni.

Because he was injured just before the start. Very unfortunate that he was out.

Dhoni is a better keeper than Rahul Dravid. So at present, Dhoni is OK.
Maybe in future, we may select a new keeper, and Dhoni can play as a pure batsman. But Dravid as a keeper is ridiculous. (But cant say).

I didnot liked your idea of playing 5 seamers in fast pitches. You are making hell of the Indian batting lineup which is already struggling to make runs. Your idea will be suitable only when India has atleast 3 good allrounders. Unfortunately, we have only one in the form of Irfan Pathan who is not fully developed yet.

Dhoni is the best choice as wicket- keeper.
