Women think that for us it's a real big turn off in general to know that they also poop, and that furthermore, their intestinal produce smells just as nasty as ours. In fact that has a lot to do with it: truth is, THEY find OUR poop to be disconcerting, and thus translate that into the certainty that we are as apalled and turned off by their poop as they in fact are with ours. Think about it, they are commiting the understandable and common error of attributing to us their own feelings and thoughts on The Excrement Issue; in their minds, there is not even a shadow of a doubt on this subject, they unflailingly believe in their sweet little hearts that we are of the same relentless opinion on the matter of their feces.
I see that some people, mostly women, have advised you not to discuss it with her, and have furthermore informed you in a curt and dignified manner that some women are shy about what they ominously termed as their 'bodily functions'. Well, I say talk about it. Get it out in the open. We all poop. Everybody does. It would not be human if we didn't. We even have pills for the assistance and relief of the unfortunate souls who have trouble getting the poopie out of their bodies. You need to discuss it with her, and if she gets evasive, you need to go all out and push all the right buttons to force her into complete disclosure of her concerns and worries regarding The Excrement Issue.
That's good God-given honest communication in a couple, man; no need to go evading, and you can tell her that, too.

Godspeed, and may the Force be with you.

What does this have to do with newborns and babies? You posted in the wrong section.

To answer your question, she probably doesn't feel secure enough in your relationship to pass gas where you can hear it or to let you know she has to go #2. Once intimacy is established in a relationship (after marriage and kids) then that feeling that you need to hide natural body functions goes out the window.

I think there is nothing wrong with her wanting to keep her bodily functions to herself. I don't think that the length of time you've been with someone plays a part, either, or determines whether or not there is intimacy. I have been married 4 years and with my husband over 8 years in total. I do not pass gas in front of him, nor does he know when I am using the restroom (like what exactly I am doing). I personally think that as a lady I need to keep those things to myself. What's wrong with that? I think passing gas and keeping the door open while using the restroom is disgusting. I don't think I need to "share" that with my husband. Maybe that's all there is to it?

Shoot. I poop! My husband knows and has always known. I think you reach a point in a relationship where it's known that everyone poops!

Why embarass her by mentioning it? Maybe the reason she doesn't want to admit it is because you make her feel weird about it. You know it's happening, everyone does it. Don't make an issue of it.

why do you feel you need to know when your girlfriend is pooping? Don't tell me your one of those freaks who likes to watch people poop or something. why don't you just give her the privacy she wants and join a poops anonymous.

dont you know, ladies dont poop!
Its none of your bussiness how a female relieves themselves.
My husband has only seen me urinate, and has no idea about the rest, after four kids, many years, its not to his knowing.
Just like a ladie shoudl have her face and hair nicely before the household wakes!
