Anime 101. The thing about drawing anime is the eyes. The bigger the better (just leave some room for the nose and mouth). Anime relys on emotion, when a character gets angry/ jealous/ annoyed/ (aw you get the point). You have to express that kind of emotion through action and the look on their face (more importantaly the look in their eyes). I have the same problem as you do. It's always a one time deal for me so everytime I draw an anime character I always add to them, you know different shirt, different expression on their face. Once I got that down I got used to the character and could draw it without having to get a one time deal. Hope I Helped!

That happens quite a lot to me as well, and it's just about impossible for me to draw the same thing more than once.

My opinion is that you shouldn't try and draw the "good" drawing again--that way, your skills will stagnate at that point. Keep drawing and forget about the "good" drawing and don't let that drawing influence you.

@just a person and ha, enormous eyes are NOT neccessarily better. They're actually a turn-off for some. Like me.

If you have the passion of drawing and if you are dedicated in drawing then you will go far. This are tips I can give you:
Tip#1:GO to www.deviantart.com
Tip#2:Type in what ever part you need help on like "How to draw anime, How to draw anime eyes" etc.
Tip#3:Practice,Practice,Practice!!
If this doesn't fit your needs then come up with your own way of drawing. Be unique!><

I have the same problem but I now use manga books and
printed anime pics, what I also do is I relax and let the art come to
me. Art books cost bout 7 to 25 dolors, sounds like alot of money
but its worth it. Another thing practice and be take ur time.

I always had that problem, but just keep trying and trying and trying. Just draw the same character several times, and it works. Try drawing just the face.
It's helped me a lot, hope it helps you!!
