Okay, my thumb is seriously jammed like crazy, and basketball tryouts are next Monday, what can i do to fixed my thumb cuz i really in all my heart want to get in the basketball team. O and im 15 years old, so please, can u give me tips on how to get ready fo tryouts with the circumstances of a jammed thumb.

Make sure you tape up that thumb. Three reasons for this...1) You don't want to hurt it again, 2) You'll feel a little more confident about not hurting it again because it'll give you some support and relief, and 3) The coach will notice that you're playing with an injury and will likely give you a little forgiveness if your shot isn't exactly right and will probably consider you a little tougher for even playing injured.

Make sure you go hard in those tryouts...and don't just worry about scoring, getting your teammates involved, rebounding, diving for loose balls, and generally playing with passion are more impressive to a coach. And don't miss a layup.

Okay...here's what i can say...make sure u tape that thumb up the day of try-outs...try to keep ur thumb out of the way but play like u normally do

Tape it up so its noticable, and play amazing defense
