A mixed number is;
A number written as the sum of an integer and a proper fraction. For example, 5¾ is a mixed number. 5¾ is the sum 5 + ¾.
In this case, the fraction 32/4 divides evenly so I would suggest the answer be just the integer 8 without any proper fraction.
Perhaps your instructor may want 8 and 0/4?
Good luck!

32/4 means 32 divided by 4 which gives an exact number.4x8=32
thus as a mixed fraction it will be 8 0/4 since there is no remainder.the numerator of the fraction gives the remainder needed to make the number divide the other number completely.

You can't make 32 over 4 a mixed number, but you can make it a whole number. 32 over 4 is an improper fraction, so you would divide the numerator by the denominator. 32 divided by 4 equals 8, a whole number.

divide 32 by 4 and take the remainder and make that the numerator of the fraction whose denominator is 4. In this case it would 8 0/4, or just 8.
