That's decent...let me tell you a story.

i'm 15 now. I throw in the upper 70's. When i was 14 this spring, i threw about 65. I got with a good pitching coach and he added 10 mph to me. I then proceeded to put up a 1.57 era this fall in wooden bat scout ball with one pitch (and this is against varsity and jv high school players), a fastball. All you really need to be succesful are two pitches: A fastball and a changeup. However, i will give you some tips to help you add to your fastball.

Get some spraypaint and measuring tape. Measure your height, then spraypaint a "T" on some grass. The "l" part of it should be about 6 inches shorter than you are tall. Start with your back toe where the "I" meets the "-" and stride out to where your front foot is exactly on the end of the "I". Make sure that when you land there, your toes are paralell. Then, once you've landed, use your rotation and have a good followthrough. No matter what anyone says, longtoss after your mechanics are good. Longtoss until you literally cannot anymore, then do drills the next day. The next day, longtoss again, and repeat. In no time you'll be a great pitcher! Don't even bother with a curveball until a highschool coach makes you throw one.

But yeah, i'd say you have pretty good physical gifts.

You've left out some key information for us to be able to see if you're a "good pitcher" or not. You're not saying if you're throwing from a little leauge distance or a "professional" distance. We don't know what your other 3 pitches are either. Some other questions I have are: Do you have good mechanics? How's your control? Can you throw strikes in pressure situations? Do you know your weaknesses?

There are so many other things that make a good pitcher than the ability to throw "hard" and have may pitches. Keep practicing and good luck with it!

At 14 throwing at 65mph is normal, as for throwing three different pitches, that could be good and bad, throwing curveballs at a young age can affect your wrist and arm in the future, change ups, and sliders will not affect you at all. By the time you are 16 you should be able to approach 80mph, but speed isn't everything, the ability to put the ball where you want to and keep the batter off balance and guessing will do a lot more for you than speed

It's not unheard of for a 14 year old to throw that fast, but not every 14 year old can do that.
Throwing three other pitches is what worries me.
Don't mess with a curve too much until you're a bit older...that can do damage to your arm down the line.
Concentrate on your location. Speed doesn't mean anything if you can't locate.

sounds decent ,given at 16 i pched an average of 70mph (keep in mind i was a runt and a t 16 was trhe size of most 13 year olds) i generated intrest from UNH but unfortunately by the time i was 18 id already blown a shoulder and elbow ond had dificulty pitching 50 mph
take care of yor arm let grater speeds develop at a natural pace dont push your self too hard ,or you'll suffer the same fate

depending on how big u are, that could be good or bad. if your a big kid andf could get more behind that pitch, then you should work on it. but if your a little guy whipping that then it could be really good. im 13, and i throw around 70. also depending on your other pitches and your accuracy, and your change of speeds, those could also make you a great pitcher. look at greg maddux, he throws 80-something but he has a great change-up and offspeed pitches.

It depends on how well your secondary pitches are...if your hook rocks, you can throw 40...but 65 is pretty good
