What is the best way to clean my eyeglasses ?

I am a little bit neurotic and I cant stand that greasy fiil that usually remain on the surface. I have tried kleenex tissues and very soft closes to clean them out and the greasy film just wont go away.

Vodka. It'll help get rid of the grease but it won't leave you with a bad smell, depending on how much you use though. Pour a little on, rub around with your fingers, pour a little bit more on and then rinse with water, let them air dry or use a non-linty papertowel to dry them.

Your best bet is a lens cleaner made specifially for glasses and a clean lint free cloth. You can find these at your local drugstore. If you want to try something a little cheaper, try diluted white vinegar and a clean cotton cloth (like an old Tshirt). Additionally, Windex works quite well, but both Windex and vinegar can damage lens coatings after awhile. Try plain warm water and a soft cloth if these don't suit your tastes.

After having worn glasses ever since I was 5 years old -- the best way to clean glasses is to have the Eyeglasses Cleaners, and a soft cloth -- like an old Bath Towel or something else that is free of dust or trapped loose fibers.

im kinda like that too..i wont quit until the lenses are clean. if your glasses came with a cloth, use that or try those one-time-use wipes made for glasses. your eye care specialist or the store where you got your glasses may even clean them for you.

I use glass cleaner, rub it in with my finger than wash under a warm tap. I then dry with a unworn t shirt.
