In answer to your question that's a matter of opinion. I think eastenders is dire drivel but i support variety to cater for a broad range of tastes. So I'm afraid Eastenders has to stay until people wake up i suppose. I happen to like Songs of Praise not just because I'm a Christian but because i love music. Finally i pay my TV licence so the BBC should cater for Christians and other faith groups. But in the main this a Christian country the head of state is a Christian therefore The BBC should reflect that or become commercial.

Don't get me started on that 'mass delusion' called religion...'We Praise You Lord For Food And Life, For Giving Us Eyes To See The Wonders Of Your Majesty...' Oh, F*ck Off.
Appalling!

I guess not if it's your cup of tea obviously some watch it, or it would not be around after all this time.
It takes all sorts I guess to make the world an interesting place.
Try and be more tolerant of the old ladies that like that kind of thing.

As much as I would never watch Songs of Praise, I do think a lot of older people, find it incredibly comforting. I guess it is all part of the diverse landscape we live in :-).
