Go and enjoy everything he ruined for you---they always ruin something. Movies, time with family and friends, church, shopping, travel, going to the book store, nice dinners, parties, dancing, there is always something you loved but you stopped doing because he ruined for you, with snide comments or just being rude. Go and do all those things and smile and laugh about it.

The best thing to do with a gift is to share it. The best way you can share YOUR gift is to help others get to a place where they, too, can celebrate. Volunteer some of your time at a women's shelter, to give hope to others that there IS a light at the end of the tunnel....which, as you and I both know, can sure be pretty dark a lot of the time.
Congratulations for surviving. It IS an accomplishment. "Pay it forward"!
