They seem to. I'll just leave it at that.

It's odd. It's like..... you have this group of friends. Or you have your circle of family. And everyone always gets labeled with their "place" in the group. Their "position"....their purpose... their contribution. At a party, you'll always find me in the corner with someone consulting me about what it is they have going on at the moment. Or a friend of family member that needs consoling about a problem. Or a stranger on here that reads an answer and says, "You seem like you might be able to help me too." You have no idea why they turn to you. Cause in your head you feel like you are so screwed up and have more issues than all of them put together! But maybe....just maybe.... its all the icky stuff I've had to deal with in life that has given me just a tad bit of Savvy (God, I love Jack Sparrow!!) to be able to help others with what they encounter in life. For some reason....yeah they think I'm wise. pffffffft.. and it seriously can be unnerving. Because when you are at your wits end and have no place to turn, you run to them for help. And then they look at you like you are insane and say, "Oh gosh, if anyone can get themselves out of a mess like that, it should be you! Just take your own advice and you'll be fine!" It's funny how you can be wise for others.....and so helpless when it is yourself!

Being smart and wise are way to different things that people get confused. Wisdom comes from time. I'm considered wise but am dumb as a stump

Yes and no. The people who actually know me do. Among my friends and family, I garner a high degree of respect.

Strangers and new acquaintances often don't get me. And as first impressions carry some weight, many might consider me shallow or flip.

Yes. But why is it...we have to be young and stupid....or old and wise? If I were in charge, I'd make us all young and wise!

Wisdom is acquired through experience and stuff, and I get most of my wisdom through books, so I doubt my friends would call me wise... :-(

Yes they must. When something bad happens or they need help I am the one they call.
