There is so much emphasis in America on weight....everyone focuses on celebrities and how beautiful thier bodies are, yet very few women look like this. And how come over weight men are accepted more than over weight women? Also....are you men aware of all the air brushing they do on popular men's magazines....or up until now did you really think that is what those girls look like in the pictures? And if you admire those women on the pages of the magazines/on TV and the interent....does it make you feel disappointed when you see women in real life?

But of course. You're right - there is a lot of emphasis on the aesthetic of the ultra-slim. Boys and girls both are taught that only one look equates to "beauty" in the modern age. Why does this happen? For no greater or less powerful reason than by tuning the expectations and hopes of both men and women, marketers can sell an awful lot of product - "You're not like the beautiful people...but you could be" is the underlying shotgun held to the temple of women by modern marketeers. They tell women that they need to be perpetually young, perpetually slim, perpetually smooth and "perfect". And men are told "only perfection is true beauty" - they're essentially given a license by the marketeers to treat women who don't measure up to this "perfection" very badly (punishing the women for not "playing the beauty game"), and they're given permission to salivate over the images that are everywhere - images of this "body perfect" aesthetic.

However, there is a lot of hope out there. A lot of men, and a lot of women too, since we're in the LGBT section, have broken the conditioning of the marketeers and obey their true natures, their true tastes, and recognise one fundamental thing. All women are beautiful. (Hell, all men are beautiful too, but let's stick to the question). Big or small, short or tall, every woman is unique and carries a power within her that is utterly intoxicating. The most wonderful aspect of a human being is their comfort within themselves - plenty of bigger women have that component in spades, and plenty of men and women are attracted both to that and to the fact of flesh, which has been worshipped and adored from primeval times to modern times for the joy of succulence, ripeness, gravidity and power it represents.

Go big womem!

1) I'm not a man but I like women that has curves. Curves is generally considered to be plus size witch is a shame because it's normal.
2) Overweight men might have been more accepted, but the wind is turning and more men are becoming addicted to workout, diets and plastic surgery.
3) I've lost the link I once had where you got to see photos of celebrities before and after the photo fix. In one pic they slimmed a friend of Paris Hilton down to half her size. Amazing to see how real it looked.
4) How many of the men do you think will ever see those women in the real life? Try going to a dating site instead and listen to all the guys that whine about the women they've met not looking as they did on their photos. The use of PhotoShop is common knowledge these days.

i was married to a plus sized woman for 19 years. my ex is one of the sweetest most decent people on earth. the only reason we got divorced was that i was an over the road trucker and was never home. we are better friends now that we are divorced. i am not disappointed when i see a "plus sized" woman at all. in fact, the woman who helped me come to terms with my crossdressing and also helped me in the early stages of my transition is a BBW. (Big, Beautiful woman). she is all of 5-1 and i didnt care a lick as to her weight and still dont. she is a very beautiful woman and turns heads no matter where she goes. (thanks ms cross, you know who you are.) as for me, i am a borderline BBW. i am 5-9 1/2 and about 175 lbs. that puts me on the edge of plus sizes anyhow. so i can see this from both sides. the lone exception to the admiration of BBW's is rosie o'donnell. i have zero use for her and not because of her sexuality. as a former trucker, she made a comment, which i will never forgive her for. she stated that "ALL truckers are druggie and drunks and they and their rigs should be parked in favor of trains, etc". as a 20 year veteran of the road, i can truthfully state that i NEVER once did drugs nor drove under the influence. statistics state 99% of all drivers will pass at least 10 tests annually. so no, i dont admire rosie. but all other BBW's....you bet

I'm 42 Bi and I love plus size women. I watch a lot of porno and the skinny shaved robots do really nothing for me. I like to masturbate to the porno (Da) and if a regular or plus size women comes onto the screen, that does it for me.....

The plus size women are real life, the kind of women that I have actually had sex with in my life. This brings back lots of pleasurable memories and gets me off.

If the women has pubic hair.....I'm outta the ball park.

Beauty and ffigure helps us to gain quantities but I really think plus size doesn't hinder our chance to get the quality.
