ok so im a really 'closed book' type person. i dont tell anyone things that r personal or how i feel or anything like that. to other people .. im happy and thats it. even my closest friend doesnt know my closest secrets .. and i have a lot of them. not really bad stuff or anything, just things id rather ppl not know. i know keeping stuff from ppl sorta hurts a relationship, but idk if i can share all my secrets with someone, especially a bf, cuz what happens when we're not together anymore, he'll still know. and even with my friends .. idk i just cant. but i know i should and its getting harder and harder not to. im so confused...

You dont need to keep secrets. You know why? Because nobody is perfect. Be true to yourself and stop trying to come across as someone with no problems. Telling people about your secrets can help you to deepen relationships.

It is ok to be closed. It shows that you have boundaries. When you meet someone you trust you will be able to open up and share. I think that whoever you choose will be very honoured, to hear your secrets. Life seems more lonely when we don't have a best friend but don't feel you have to rush and find a boyfriend. Maybe share a couple of small confidences with a friend and see how that goes maybe you will find a true friend there. When we offer people something that we are secretive about they tend to be able to open up to us and share their thoughts far easier. Good luck and don't be so hard on yourself.

it is not healthy to keep everything inside sometimes it makes people physically ill if you can find one person that you trust that will listen to you without judging you that would be great it really helps alot to be able to confide in someone and talk about things im sorry that you are having such a hard time with this i will say a prayer for you and wish you the best have a good day

If you don't feel comfortable with sharing certain information, then that is your priveledge! You only share what you feel comfortable sharing. It's totally up to you. I don't trust alot of people including some of my own friends, so I certainly would not be telling them all of my business. It's called privacy and you have a right to protect your own privacy. If you don't feel comfortable spilling the beans, then don't!

Part of growing in a relationship is trust, and that includes being able to trust the person that you're in the relationship with with your secrets, hopes, dreams, etc. Communication is imporant, also. If you want a relationship with this person, learn to confide and communicate with him. You'll feel better about yourself, as you won't be carrying around so much inside, and you'll have a better idea of where you stand with him.
