what does "This answer is below your threshold" mean?

You set a threshold for the kind of answers you want to view according to the thumbs-down ratings. If the threshold is "-2," then any answer with 2 or more thumbs-down will be minimized, with the "this answer is below your threshold" comment.

You can change the threshold in the box at the top under the question. "Show all" will give you all complete answers.

it means this answer is beyond your limit so if it has got 2 thumbs down it will be below your threshold

Change the bit above that says display all answers. It's when answers are rated by other users and if lots of people don't like the answer it would be visible to you.

ok, yur threshold is like either a door or a boundery so it could be "this answer is below your bounderies"

look at the top underneath the question..it says show answers rated higher than2...you can change it, but it mean that any answer with more than 2 'thumbs down'...you can't see.

every answer have rating , and u can choose to see onley high rated answers look for "rated 2 or higher " and change it to "see all answers"
