Thats because youre not seeing the bubbles just the light through the bubbles. Change the light bulb if you want coloured bubbles.

You can't see their colour because not enough light is reflected back for you to see. This makes them transparent.

In fact, if the bubbles did not refract white light (causing the rainbow of colours) you wouldn't be able to see them at all.

If you look at the water underneath it will be the colour you were expecting. The bubbles are just minerals which dont dissolve in water, like Fairy Liquid..They are useless apart from making you feel nice.

it just looks white because it is clear and the color is too spread out. if you put a ton of bubbles in your hand and pop them, you will get the color back.
