To carry out my work efficiently and to comply with Health and Safety measures I must wear PPE at work. For example I wear an apron to protect my clothes and when I am using colouring products I wear gloves to protect my hand from chemicals.

Hope this helps.
PS. Another way to pad it out is explain what P.P.E is.

Personal protective equipment, such as gloves and aprons, are required when using potentially hazardous materials, such as hair coloring, and must be worn during these procedures.

You can be a bit specific about the hazards implied. P.P.E. must mean Personal Protective Equipment. So write it our. Do not abbreviate anything. You can say "I must wear gloves because"........and explain. If you have had experience when not wearing gloves then explain.
You can say "I must use an apron because".........and then explain and give experience. Just be more personal with your report.

It is important to wear gloves not only to protect ones hands from being stained by the colour - but also to protect them from damage from continuous handling of colours. the wearing of an apron obviously protects clothing from staining by colours. Don't forget to clean and sterilise combs and other equipment.

Is there something you can put in about a safe environment for clients and staff, eg chairs and sinks being at right height, safe water temperature, ensuring the floor is kept clear and clean to avoid slips and falls? There is probably a load of stuff that you do that you take for granted that actually contributes to H&S at work.

sorry girl, you are on a loser, you must have been to college, go look at your notes, and maybe stop looking in the mirror at your own hair and get some work done! if you can't manage a simple essay on health and safety you got no chance! go to a search engine for health and safety and see what you can find under hairdressers, i.e. sweeping up, keeping clean, checking peeps hair, no lesions to the skin! could be an aids person, any sign of nits, no trailing cables , no floor obstructions, ...I'm stating the obvious go find your specialist site.

In NVQ you have to do things and explain WHY you are doing what you are doing and the consequences if you don't. You ave to show that you have knowledge about what you are doing, and are not just doing things parrot fashion. i.e just because that's what you've been told or shown to do.
