Firstly you will only have an opinion/ assumption, from mere statistics & not the truth; And most people with a reasonable awareness, know that statistics are manipulated to suit, in attempts to brain wash & hypnotize; Although they are good for winning debates with drug addicts ;
Because you asked this question with linking certain subjects to the belief in God, you will get a certain number of people who will reply in the manner that you require. Faith comes from within, from awareness of self & a belief in others, from our conscience, & what is around us; It has very little to do with art or science, although their may be something in creativity Itself, as when one is being creative, one is in high esteem;
So the chances at that time, will mean one would have a closer connection with God. So basically faith stems from our belief systems, which can be manipulated, " just like statistics.. I almost forgot, I am supposed to be a statistic. Do I believe in God... you bet your life, although my God isn't a conventional, controlling, scaremongering God, my God is a selfless God That is there for just me & the other people, places ect in my life.

I'm studying mechanical engieering. I am not willing to completely rule out the existance of there being a god, but I am the kind of person who likes to be able to see some form of proof.
On the other hand there is some part of me that hopes that there is something after this life - but I'm not counting on it!
