even the healthiest young woman can have a late period without being pregnant.

my period was allllways on time exactly 30 day cycle every month since i was 12.

but when i turned 20 it was late. i thought i was pregnant but all the tests were negetive so i went to my doctor.

she said that sometimes when women get into their 20's their once regular period becomes irregular for no apparent reason...

mine developed an every 90 day cycle after that and i'm perfectly healthy...

other things that can delay a period are

~stress (even stressing over possibly being pregnant!)
~jetlag or traveling
~changes in sleep patterns
~a diet too low in fat
~changes in exercise patterns
~illness (even though you said she was healthy...i thought i'd add it anyway)

so basically...she can be completely healthy and still have a late period and she's fine...but i'd have her take a pregnancy test anyway if she hasnt' already...also, they can be wrong sometimes too. have her take a few.

good luck.

Now everyone can cure infertility using this natural remedy http://pregnancyhelps.info
infertility can run in the family and one of the first things the doctor asks you when you go to a fertility clinic is your family history regarding cases of infertility or other reproductive issues.
If infertility is caused by genetic disorder then it's not unusual that one of the kids (your mom) doesn't have it and another does (your aunt).
two months of trying is still to early to be concerned about the fact that you might be infertile and it's also quite early to go to a fertility specialist. Go to a regular Obgyb to get a closer insight and see what ways there are are to improve your fertility rate.
Also remove alcohol, caffeine and cigarettes from your life because they might influence your chances too. Stress is also a risk factor when it comes to infertility.

If they are young and just started menstrating- they could go a few months. If someone is already regular in cycles- it is possible to skip a whole cycle.

Usually a woman who misses her cycle, and is typically healthy and on no meds, will not miss, and if she does, it is likely she is pregnant.
