i know a pretty good amount about WWII. Hitler was able to go on with his crimes because the countries that could stop him (America, Great Britian) were too scared of letting another horrible war like WWI happen. They tried to please Hitler, but ended up allowing germany to become so strong, a second World War broke out. Hitler thought he could do anything and the allies would be too scared to stop him, but when he invaded Poland, the allies realized they had to do something. The allies were America, Great Britain, and I believe France for the most part. The Axis powers were Germany, Italy, and Japan. Germany and Italy eventually signed an agreement to end fighting, an Armistice. America had tried to reamin neutral, but Japna's attack on Pearl Harbor drew them to the allied side. Japan didn't surrender until America dropped atom bombs on Hiroshima on Aug.6, 1945 and Nagasaki on Aug.8, 1945

I can't possibly answer this question.I love history too much.If I told you some interesting things in history,I'd never get finished before your questioned closed to new answers.I'll limit myself to one thing.Ever heard of Elizabeth Bathory? She was a Hungarian
countess born in1560,who tortured and killed 600 young girls and bathed in their blood. She believed that their blood would rejuvenate her and
keep her young. She was also a sadist, who enjoyed torturing them. When she was finally found out [after almost a decade],she was walled up in her chamber and kept alive by being fed thrrough a small opening in the wall. She died in 1614.

No written history is completely unbiased. It is full of interesting info, though. Thomas Edison electrocuted an elephant because of his ego. You need to be specific about what you want to know.
