From a Darwinian standpoint, if you postulate a group of people who utterly lacked the means of co-operating with others for the good of all, you would find that people would quickly become extinct. This would leave behind the people that can co-operate to survive.

So your morality is simply a name for an evolutionary outcome.

Good question but I think there are more immoral humans than moral. Seems society in general is losing morality and the animal animals have more morals than us human animals. Morals have taken a back seat to greed, power and money. There is very little down for the sake of goodness or done for what is actually right. Man's way of life is dictated by the desire to control and to have more and not by doing what is right. We exploit whatever we can for our gain and it does not seem to matter who or what we hurt to get there. So I do not think man is a moral animal it would be insulting to the wildlife to think the majority of man today has morals. Morals would mean man would perserve the earth, take care of each other without exploiting another for personal gain, not having war to obtain more than what we need, not killing the innocent, and actually caring about other matters than money and power

Jeez! you posted this same question three times!

Some men consider themselves to be "moral animals" and some don't waste time thinking about whether they are moral or not.
