i downloaded a clip off my computer but it's avi and windows wont play it . what program can i download to watch the avi clip?

the new windows media player should be able to play it.

Try VLC Media Player (http://www.videolan.org/). It plays everything, including avi. To see what files VLC supports go to (http://www.videolan.org/vlc/features.html). Best of all, it is free.

your avi clip has a special format so some players won't play it .. try to play the clip on the laptop or other computer . or convert the movie to mpeg or wmv file ..
i tried the things above.

VLC will open any video I've ever tried. It's free, and will even play Google's downloaded videos if you use Google's Player to download them, then change the extension to .avi.

Idk but if I were you I would look to see if the clips on youtube. Then you can see it all the time and don't have to download a thing.
