Figuring there are over 700 players in the NFL, I think their are probably some gay men.
Gay rights groups claim that 1 in 20 adults are homosexual. If we take that fact (probably not true, but there's nothing to discredit that statement) and divide it into 700... you come up with 35.
Are there really 35 gay NFL players? No one knows for sure. But it's possible.

According to Terrell Owens, Jeff Garcia is, but there arnt any NFL players of today admitting it, in the 1970s a Giants Runningback admited to being gay. He has an autobiography on it

while there aren't any "out" players who are currently active...there are a number of ex-players that came out after they have retired...a quick yahoo search revealed the following names...Esera Tuaolo and Roy Simmons. There is also a book out called "Bloody Sundays" by NY times reporter Mike Freeman who follows a current NFL player who agreed to be interviewed if his name was not revealed.
