I have heard gossips about the McDonald's Burger Patty is made from 100% cultured earth worm, but they don't have any proofs or evidences that it is really made of cultured earthworms. I think these are just hoaxes to break the reputation of Mcdonald's as the world's number 1 food chain. For you, is it really made of cultured earthworms? are there any written articles or proofs online that their patties are from earthworms, I don't know, but I`m starting to believe :)

What's your opinion?

According to McDonalds.com the beef patty that they serve in the United States is made up of 100% pure USDA inspected beef; no additives, no fillers, no extenders. I hope this helps eliminate your worries and remember, The Answer Man can ALWAYS help!

Yeah the Earth worms (or mealworms as I heard it)in the burger story is just an urban legend...McDonalds gets sued when peoples coffee is too hot, so I imagine they'd be out of business by now if they served up piping hot worm-burgers.

It's not earthworms, it's beef. They couldn't sell it labeled incorrectly that way, because of advertising laws (not to mention the lawsuits they'd face if someone were allergic to earthworms.) This is just a myth.

Not earthworms, but McD's is the worlds largest buyer of cow eyeballs. It's from a cow, so technically it's still beef, and hence they can still claim 100% beef.

Food for thought.

It's an old rumour and not possible. Can you imagine the law suit MacDonald would get. Anyone who is knowledgeable in Biology can dissect the patty, besides all you have to do, go to your health department and they have the means to investigate.

I don't think its worms because buying worms to make their patties would be more expensive than buying beef.

All the fast food chains want to be as cheap as they can go.

Anyways, even if it is beef, Mcdonald is GROSS!!!!!

No. it is made of 100% USDA beef, if it was then there would be hundred people involved to keep it secret, i think it is way too expensive rather than raise, butcher and process beef
