I am a big Twilight fan so I answer this question a lot.
If its vampire fiction you're looking for--specifically for teens--these titles are great.
Blue Bloods by Melissa De La Cruz
Peeps by Scott Westerfeld
Vampirates by Justin Somper
Vampire books (still YA) which I have seen but not read personally
Silver Kiss by Annette Curtis Klause
Sweetblood by Pete Hautman
Amelia Atwater Rhodes is another name that keeps popping up as writing YA vampire/supernatural titles.
And the Cirque Du Freak series by Darren Shan
If you're looking for young adult romance try reading Sarah Dessen. Dessen, like Meyer, has great characterization in her novels. My personal favorite is The Truth About Forever, but all of her books are good.
If you're looking for a similar style as far as fantasy goes...try Libba Bray with A Great and Terrible Beauty and Rebel Angels.
