there is no best way because theres only one way. money. yahoo makes you pay a yearly fee or a monthly fee. i believe as little as 20$ per month or even 20$ per year if you do your homework. google charges per number of people that visit the website. however if you can find someone elsewith a website that has a yahoo/google result, you can put a hyper link for your website on it

For a start, you will attract NO real interest unless you register your own domain name. A sub-domain, which is what you have, will always look unprofessional. You then need to make the site interesting to your intended customers and try to get links to it in as many sensible locations (areas where you actually work) as you possibly can. NO company can make you go top of the list. MY listing is normally about page 3, sometimes 4, on Google, often higher on all the other search engines, but a person entering additional words to the search can go up (even an odd page 1) or down (not found in 50 pages) depending on the relevance (and spelling) of the word. Ignore the commercial companies who promise the world, They don't own it (although maybe Microsoft do).

What you need is for the Search Engines to find you and that could take time. Just by mentioning your site on yahoo answers it will be on yahoo search, but is very frowned upon. You could use Google Adword and Yahoo Search Marketing and Blogs and forums, email campaigns. There is one way that is alot faster. Just follow the link below. Good Luck

Most of the search engines require you to submit your site to them, which I'd imagine you've already done.

Aside from that, you need links and traffic to have it more recognized, but remember the millions of other companies you're competing with.

For a free or low cost method of gaining traffic, you might consider this:

I was quite blown away by the amount of free traffic that it generated for my website ( https://www.ecommbiz.net ) and I've always been very skeptical about free advertising...you know...you get what you pay for?

Good luck, I hope this helps.

So far Google hasn't found you. I ran a site search and it came back empty. Here's a link to Google's help page about how to do this.

How to get your site recognized by google? Pay them. How else? I mean, why do you think their stock trades for $475 a share?
