I think it's ridiculous to keep changing the time! We aren't farmers, and not many people get up at dawn anymore and need light. Also, by making it darker in the evening I think we will be using more electricity because people will be home having dinner or whatever and need the lights on. Could we vote to stop doing this? It's ridiculous!

actually, farmers dislike it because it interrupts the time they collect eggs with chickens and get them to market. It also interrupts people's sleep and for some, their religious practice when they pray at dawn or sunset, for example. changing clocks is another pain, but with our future and computers, this may not be a problem in twenty years or less. the good thing about daylight saving time (it's actually saving, not savings--I looked it up) is that is saves energy. it was actually conceived of by Benjamin Franklin. The idea is cool when are days are longer in summer, but a pain this weekend, right?

daylight savings literaaly saves daylight so we have more daylight in the summer when we need it and less daylight in the winter when it isnt needed. We it saves electricity in the summer because we wont have lights on + AC and would you like to vote in the world wide commitee because they do this everywhere!
