Those are not acronyms. Acronyms are a group of words that when using the first letter of each word, they spell a different word. What you have listed are merely abbreviations. If you keep in the habit of typing in plain english you wont think in internetese.

No... it gets really annoying after a while!
But it does sneak into my writing! I write in my journal in English and if I write something funny, I put LOL by it... I make sure to stay away from LMAO because my teacher reads it... :-)

I've never found myself using internet slang in real life, but that's probably because I don't use internet slang on the internet in the first place.

Haha yeah i´ve said "lol" in real life before, but i found it so riculous and funny that i actually did have to Laugh Out Loud after that. =D
