Change like money, or changes in your life?

Change as in transformation? Then, the fear is that the change will be worse than the original.

Change as in money? The Casinos don't take coins anymore. It's all vouchers and bills.

You are not asking an advice how to survive on a street, aren't you??? Well changes shattering or wash away familiar ground to stay on, offering unknown and uncharted territory to be and operate in...people afraid anything unknown, except kids, teens and some imaginable individuals represented by Hollywood's propaganda.

It all depends how and were you at and how you go about it.Do not go to a ghetto with gangs and ask or a police station.You will end up beat up or in jail.The best way i guess is to have some sob sorry like you stuck somewhere and need money to get home.Be polite.
