I have a big, oddly-shaped nose. I use dark makeup and contouring techniques to hide it, but I'm just wondering how much attention people pay to other people's noses?
I've been super-sensitive about it after a this old lady I didn't know told me I was pretty except for my nose and that I should get a nose job.

haha old ladies are so mean! but if you have a bump in your nose you dont like, getting a surgery would fix it forever. i was considering getting surgery for a while, but then i decided it wasnt worth it. i have a big nose too, but only twice in my life has anyone made negative comments about it. and that was in middle school, and a ***** in highschool. like seriously that old lady was out of line and you should have told her to get a face lift.
also i find big noses attractive on some girls and guys

No, I don't. I think larger noses can look charasmatic and that lady was just incredibly rude to make such a harsh comment, I'm sorry you now feel sensitive about your nose, but there is no need to be. Take care : )

A nose can make or break someones face.....a large nose is less attractive than a small one....just think Nicole Kidman in 'The Hours'...all they did was put a prosthetic nose on her is it made her ugly....even though nothing else on her face was different....
and think about how much more attractive Ashley Simpson is now that she has had a nase job

I actually find big noses attractive on Women. I don't know what it is about them, but I do. Some people that need to feel better about themselves go through with it. Remember though that you are changing who you are.

i have a pinty big nose, and most of the time i don't care. but sometimes i wish i had a smaller nose. i would never get a nose job. as, for that old lady, screw her, she's just jealous you have a life and she doesn't! (lots of people have told me that)

everybody notices noses, but not as a nose, as a part of the face. trying to cover it up will help if you have a mosterously huge nose, but a nose job might be the key to a prettier face.

I personally don't notice peoples noses unless they're big. I do notice people's eyes. Try focusing on bringing attention to your eyes more.

2) If you like your nose, stop worrying about it
3) I notice my nose a lot, I don't like it but I don't obsess. I don't notice people's noses unless someone reminds me about them.

Yes i notice noses but i try not to be obvious, I even notice, no ones nostrils is the same. look at them sometime, you will agree
