This is something I"m really interested in but need to know it's gotta pay well. So does anybody know how much money can be made in a job like this?

It really depends on the company you work for and the hours you are willing to put into the phone. Pay rates vary for each company, some pay per minute while others pay per hour.

Feel free to email me.

Wow. I remember dropping a girl friend off at an office location who did this work. I noticed in the small parking lot, all these NEW cars. Yup, I decided then, it does pay well.
I did this at home. I went in for an interview, they had me come back for an actual "tour" of the facility where there were about ten operators. We were to listen to how they handled their calls, then each of us, took a call ourselves. A little embarrassing the first time, and especially in front of five other potentials. But I got through the call and did great.
They checked my home number to be sure they could hook into it. How it worked was at a certain time, whatever my shift was, I would call into a number, they would then, do something so that for eight hours, I was on line with them. They rotated the calls, so that every (depending on how busy it was, how many clients were calling in) few minutes, I would get a message, a quick one, which would tell me what type of call it was. (We had a script, and there are many callers for many ads(Blonde and lonely, just out of college, talk only do not ask for client to speak,) It went on like that...that way we knew which script we were to use. You can of course ab live, which is really how you make your money. As long as you are the right person he called per the ads. The longer you keep them on the phone, the more money you make. For three nights, I made six hundred dollars. I thought that was cool, and fair money for never leaving home. If I had taken the inside office job, it would still be worth it. Their paychecks are professional, deductions and a nice company name, like blank blank entertainment, or j&b enterprises. So no one knows what you are doing. I forget the job title you are to tell people , if asked, but it's also a nice one.
It's all up to how long you can keep a client on the phone. I stopped after a week, because I was at home, awake all night, and I couldn't take the hours without sleep. After so long, your supervisor will get onto your phone , if at home, and tell you to take a break and be back in..........time. I had to buy a little inexpensive phone thing, that I could plug into my ear, and phone, and a super long phone cord, so I could walk around my home while waiting for calls.
One night I made $100.00 for one caller. I am in ca. and this person called from NY and we were on the phone for three hours. That one paid really well. They like you to use a name that when the clients like you, they can ask for you personally. So chose a name that you like, that's easy to remember for the clients and catchy sounding. I used Trudy-True.....
Normally, when you start you are stuck onto the late shift, but actually it pays a lot better than days. That's my opinion.
It's all up to how sexy and hot you sound, if you can remember which ad he's calling on and how dependable you are. Stay on as long a possible. There are many who will hear your voice and just hang up!! Don't take it personally...a lot do that just because...It's profitable and fun actually.
Hope this helped, good luck.

The longer you take on the phone the more money you make. Customers uses credit card and it's your job to keep them on the phone.
