well, it all has to do with evolution. everything shares a common ancestor and that ancestor split into three groups. bacteria, archaea, and eukaryota. we are in eukaryota. eukaryota split into a bunch of different lineages one which is animalia. we are in animalia. animalia branches off into different phyla one is chordata. and that is where humans originate. as for the first human i don't think they had as advanced of a brain as modern humans, therefore they probably didn't give eachother names.

Humans start their life in the same way everthing else does, by somehow being born or brought into existance. The first modern day humans appeared about 130 thousand years ago according to the geological record, although the Neanderthals who have disappeared as a distinct seperate human species had been here for about 150 thousand years prior to our arrival. Nobody can say for sure who the first human was or exactly what happened to bring about or create our diverse species. If evolution is to be believed we and the hardy Neanderthals evolved from lower orders of various other primates over a period of roughly 5 million years. If various religious teachings about the creation of humankind is to be be believed, we spontaniously combusted out of virtually nothing about 10 - 12 thousand years ago. The first man made structures and glyphic historical records that would indicate a higher form of intelligence go back to roughly 6 thousand years ago. Although various cave drawings have been dated to about 30 thousand years ago and primitive tools date back to the Neanderthals arrival. Take your pick, both theories are conjecture and entirely subjective. Although evolution seems to be the more logical sequence of of events, nobody can prove either beyond a reasonable doubt? I think your 2nd question is also a good answer, so lets just say the answer is "Who", was indeed the first human. Now that brings up a third question, was the first human a male or a female? Well, nobody can answer that one for sure either.

Well, it depends: Evolution versus Creationism; you decide.
Evolutionists believe human beings evolved from primates over millions of years. Darwin is the first to have thought of the possible evolution of man and animals.
Christian Creationists believe God created a man (Adam) and a woman (Eve) and put them in a garden (Paradise) until Eve was naughty and then God made them leave the garden of Eden, work for a living and Eve was "punished" by being forced to have children. It is important to know the same storyline of being cast out of paradise appears in a lot of different religious texts going back to the dawn of man and prior to the Jewish scholars telling the story in the old testament. Actually, the earliest story of this sort was written in Egypt and a similar story was found in old Babylonian texts: these religions are definitely not Christian.
I do want to qualify this and tell you all Creationists theories are NOT the same depending on what religion we are discussing. Hindu creationists theories are totally different from Christian theories and every religion has its own idea of how creation too place.
The scientific theory of Evolution is based on bones found from millions of years ago which would indicate that homo sapiens, as we know humans to be today, evolved over the years to our present state.
Asking this question is going to lead people into very heated debate as the Christian Creationists arise and try to convince you their fable of creation is correct: you have to judge for yourself but if you are writing a paper I would definitely go with the Evolution theory unless you go to one of those Fundamentalist Christian private schools that will kick you out for blaspheming.

Recent finds indicates our remote common ancestors were very chimp like. The female of the specie broke from athropoids first. A few hundred thousand years later, males broke free. This is indicted by almost undisputed evidence of DNA.
