Someone has to be accountable for this very sad tragedy. These people are quick enough taking our money off us for poor accomodation. As with hotels anyone who is renting property to holiday makers should have to undergo health and safety checks and hold certificates before being allowed to rent out.
It is all well and good getting an odd job man to fix things that he has no qualified knowledge of and pay him buttons, if you want something like this on your conscience. It does pay to get things right and pay the right price.I thing the landlord should be held responsible he is the one that reaps the profits although he fails to maintain the tourists safety.

Yes they should pay for the life of the two kiddies. The maintenance chap as well. The hotel owner should have checked the job had been done correctly especially as the previous occupants of the bungalow were taken ill and hospitalised. That was a strong warning something was wrong.

Their apologies and condolences will not bring back the life of the children or help their poor parents.

This is not going to be easy....but i think the guy how did the work to the hotle should go directly to jail, do not pass go and don't collect £200. It's the hotle owner i am not all that sure of, the way i see it is yes he should go to jail but i really don't think that will happen, i think he will go to court and maybe pay a very heffty fine. They all have to live with the terrible event till they die.

Yes they should go to jail, people who had been in the same apartment had been complaining that they were ill well before these two kids bought it.

Sling em in jail and throw the key away, they've ruined two young lives in the name of money and profit, they're scum.

It sounds to me like neglect by the hotel management, after all they are responsible for all maintainance, also the safety of guests, just don't hold your breath waiting for someone to be named, the Greek legal system is somewhat snail like

Both should. Both had a duty of care to that family, and they failed.

Hope they throw away the key.
