I have the one tire off and the 2 bolts, usually used to release the caliper are off. I can not get the caliper to come off of the rotor to get to the brake pads and replace them. Am I missing something? Do I need to take the whole caliper housing off as well?

This is why I drive my PT Cruiser. It took me 5 minutes to change my pads!

THERE IS A BRACKET OVER THE CALPER YOU MUST TAKE OFF FIRST

Pry the pads back so there is clearance between them and the rotor... and yes the whole caliper needs to come off to change the pads...

yep,the whole caliper needs to come off, take a c-clamp and pull the piston back in and see if that helps.
