I think they'll do ok. They just need a few games into the season to adjust to the new guys.

The key to the Pistons success was that they weren't about any single player. Everyone on the team came from a team that they previously didn't have success with but when put together they played like champions. I don't think replacing Ben Wallace is going to be a big challenge, and the Pistons still have 4 of their 5 starters from their Championship team. For all we know, a new Center will provide a new spark for the Pistons and lead them to another Championship.

They're going to do good enough to get to the playoffs again, but they won't go very far in the playoffs unfortunately. The playoffs are when defense becomes more important. Flip Saunders is moving away from their defensive play, and losing Ben Wallace is huge. Nazr Mohammed is definitely a chump in comparison...just about everyone else has a better center.

Ben Wallace was the heart & soul of that defense. He brought that defensive intensity every single game. The Pistons Eastern Conference dominance is over...6 seed and first round exit.

they will be a better team offensively without ben wallace as last year they were basically playing four on five on offense but they will miss him defensively with his rebounding and shot blocking but they should still make the playoffs and have a fighting chance for a trip to the finals it won't be easy though as the eastern conference has been getting better recently in the past few years

They will be a good if not pretty good regular season team, driving off of the "We don't need Ben, just like we didn't need Coach Brown" fuel, that doesn't last. Fuel didn't work last year, won't work this year, especially losing the anchor to the defense.

yo i am the biggest pistons fan, i think they will because ben can't shoot without dunking and his free-throw shooting sucks. for the defense, they have nazr and rasheed
