If they can, what do they range in price?

If not, is there one that does work with a MAC? And where can I get one and for how much??

There are several options, USB or Firewire, these adapt when plugged in, as far as formatting, if it is plugged into a MAC it will be setup for a MAC.

And with the new dual systems, someday you will be able to run old Windows programs.

Almost all will work with the Mac, even if it's formated with FAT32 (Windows' format). Best bet it look for the Mac symbol on the box before buying it.

yes there are many hard drives that will work with a Mac if you have an iPod then that is a type of hard drive
