I m 35 weeks pregnant, my first baby was premature b/c my water broke at 34 w. This preg. has been so terrible. I 've been feeling heavy cramps since 28 w, the doctors keep saying that its normal, and they just keep finding things like urine infection, yeast infection, and telling me thats the cause for the pain. I have recieved treatment for all of that, and my cramps keep getting worst. Today I cant basically walk anymore, I have a 16 m old baby to take care of and i cant do it. I'm really tired of being just there laying on my side.
I feel strong contractions while i walk, but as soon as a lay down they kinda get less frequent and then they stop, so it just leave me witi heavy cramps. When i get up to go pee its so painful in my pelvic area and my stomach is so tight mostly on the top, that i cant walk straight...now today i got diahrrea , also for te last two days i have vaginal discharge (like a runny nose)? clear and sticky? what should i do? i dont want tey send me back home

They'll probably send you home. True labor doesn't stop when you lay down.
* Are the contractions regular? Time your contractions from the beginning of one to the beginning of the next. Look for a regular pattern of contractions that get stronger and closer together. Contractions that come at least every five minutes are likely to be the real thing. The contractions of false labor will remain irregular.
* How long do they last? Measure the length of each contraction by timing when it begins and when it ends. True contractions last more than 30 seconds at first and get progressively longer — up to 75 seconds — and stronger. With false labor, contractions vary in length and intensity.
* Can you stop the contractions? True contractions continue regardless of your activity level or position. In fact, they often grow stronger with increased activity, such as walking. With false labor, you may be able to stop the contractions by changing your activity or position, lying down or even taking a walk.
* Where do you feel the contractions? The pain of true contractions tends to begin high in the abdomen, radiating throughout the abdomen and lower back. With false labor, the contractions are often concentrated in the lower abdomen.
Expect false alarms
The boundary between your body's preparation for labor and the actual process of labor is not always clear. Some women have painful contractions for days with no cervical changes. Others feel only a little pressure or a backache as the cervix gradually dilates.
Don't hesitate to call your doctor if you wonder whether you're in labor. Preterm labor can be especially sneaky. If you have any signs or symptoms of labor before 36 weeks — especially if they're accompanied by vaginal spotting — see your doctor for an exam.
At term, labor will nearly always make itself apparent. If you arrive at the hospital in false labor, don't feel embarrassed or frustrated. Think of it as a practice run. The real thing is sure to be on its way!

calm down, time your contractions and make sure you have care aranged for little one. It may be a good time to call in a favour from a friend or family.
If your contractions, or practice contractions(braxton hicks) are coming closer together, or becoming stronger then get into medical care. Particularly if they are less than 5-7 minutes apart. If they start to overlap, then don't go anywhere call an ambulance. Better safe than sorry.

If you don't want to go to the hospital and get sent right back home just call the OB department at the hospital and speak with a nurse and tell them what is going on. They most likely know your case and can tell you what you should do. Please don't hesitate to call, pick up the phone right now! Good luck!

Get yourself to the hospital as soon as possible! Leave your child with a responsible friend/family member for a couple days while you recoop. This sounds very serious! I hope everything goes well for you & baby!

Go to the emergency room immediately. Even if the baby is not coming now, this is not normal. Pain that bad is not normal, even if you are pregnant. Diarrhea can be extremely dehydrating, which you certainly don't need when your pregnant.

Go now, or call the hospital first and speak to a physician (the usually have doctors on call for such questions if you don't want to go directly to the ER).
