writing a cd review?

is it okay to quote what another reporter said in his review? mine's just for my school paper. because even if i have the same opinion, i don't want to plagarize.

so any ideas/tips on reviewing a cd in general is helpful. thanks!

If you quote it, make sure you cite your source - as in "So-and-so said it the best when he wrote "yada yada yada" in ..."

The other thing you want to remember is you're pretty much selling this cd or convincing others that it sucks. Make it clear why it sucks (no continuity or orginality) or why it rocks (totally innovative. the band is the next AC/DC or Zep).
