my one friend is 16 and still didn't get her period and this kid i was hanging out with yesterday was like damn i'm goign to do it with her...can't get her pregnant.. do u need to have had your period to get pregnant cause i read once that u don't have to have it. but my friends said that if u ddin't have it u can't get prenant. who is right?

she should have had her period by now surely! but the chances are he could have sex with her and she could be starting to ovulate! but if you dont ovulate you dont get pregnant end of but you shouldnt be having sex until your old enough to understand the responsibilites it comes with!

You can't get pregnant if you haven't had your first period yet. And being 16 and not yet having a period, I think your friend should see a gynecologist, that is a little old to not have started yet, most girls start between the ages of 11-13. And you should stop hanging around the boy who said that to her

A girl can get PG if she has had her 1st cycle or not. You never know if this is going to be the month of her 1st one and if you "do her" (pig) there is still a chance you will get her PG. Use 1/2 a brain and wrap it up.

The first answer is right, technically you can't get pregnant if you havent started ovulation, however you neverr know if that would be the lucky month!

No you are infertile before you get your period... that girl whom got pregnant without getting her 1st period was just ver unlucky she started menastrting just as soon as she had sex.... but still USE A CONDOM!!!!!!!!! STD's are out there!!!

there is a chance, but your 16 year old friend shouldnt be having sex at that age, and if she does, or you do, you should be using birth control, because GOD FORBIT SHE GETS PREGNANT!!!!!!!
