You can have sex at any point in your pregnancy, as long as you aren't in labor. After your water breaks, that opens you up to all kinds of infections.
The baby is safely enclosed in the uterus, so sex won't harm the baby (but gentle is the key!). You may also experience some light spotting after sex, but it's nothing to panic about.

A midwife told me it's best to use condoms until you are past the 12 weeks mark as sperm can sometime cause miscarriages so early on but you are safe to have sex at any time.

if the pregnancy is normal yes actually the doctor recommends That especially at the end of the pregnancy it helps with dilation if you feel app to it . i had sex days after mi due date and i vend to labor

yes, you can unless you are told otherwise by your ob. it will not harm the baby for him to "go in you". the baby is in a protective sack of amniotic fluid.
