Hi!

If you are talking about 80C51 then... it's very complex. I can't remember if 80C51 has enough RAM and ROM capabilities to store the proper programs.
First, you need to implement a serial I/O protocol with TCP/IP capabilities, or something... this requires loads of both ROM and RAM.
Also, it needs to be connected to a gateway of some sort, that is connected to the internet, and the gateway must run a client for your microcontroller.
Try searching more info on Profy Bus (the network that connects microcontrollers) and its various implementations and configurations. Several microcontrollers might be needed for that.
