With waxing, you have to wait until the hair is at least a quarter of an inch long before you wax again. Many women do not want to let their leg hair get that long, so shaving is the preferred method, at least below the knee where legs are seen most often in skirts and shorts. Same thing with underarms.

waxing pros- hair is gone for longer, when hair grows in its finer
waxing cons- it cost more then shaving, you have to let your hair grow at least quarter of an inch, it hurts somewhat. esp the inner thigh, there can be cases where the wax is to hot and can remove skin with the hairs (trust me, i had a bakini wax and she took off part of my inner thigh skin.. it was awful)
shaving pros- its quick, cheap and effective
shaving cons- it doesnt last that long, you can cut yourself
overall if you want smooth legs w/o having to shave often id get a wax. but in order to do that you would have to grow you leg hairs long for a while, a month or less depending on how fast your hair grows. overall if id say if you have dark thick leg hair id get a wax for longer results

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods.
Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful.

I've done both. Including shaving with a disposable and electric. Electric razors are the best-quick, smooth, no nicks, no water, just nice! Waxing-sticky, takes a while, to some it's painful.
Both are great methods.

It seems like waxing you will have a smoother/cleaner after effect but you may have pain and shaving there isn't any pain unless you cut yourself but the hair grows back faster and you get hair bumps that itch...

Waxing is great on the one hand, because you'll have no hair there for months. The bad part is, when it does begin to come back, you can get ingrown hairs easily.

Waxing - lasts much longer and your hair can grow back finer.. but is very time consuming & can be pricey..might hurt a little bit
Shaving - very tedious and can be annoying (NICKS, ouchh), but its quick and cheap!

well if you wax it last longer i think but it might hurt and if you shave well within 24 hours you have stubys and then you have to do it everyday so i would prefer wax even though it might gurt becasue it last longer
